CARNIE FILMS get even weirder as Thomas Lee Rutter puts in the finishing touches to his new short film 'SOLSTICE AT THE MIDLIFE CIRCUS' which merges the spiritual aspect of a Pagan summer solstice ritual with the spectrum of life, depicting a middle aged man's trip into the depths of his lifeline trying to conclude another chapter of happiness within. The film is said to be a celebration of the summer and the exorcising of inner demons. It will be one of TLR's strangest shorts yet, with a strong influence of Kenneth Anger and video collage. The film is in it's post production stage and will feature a score by M. W. Wright.
ALSO IN PRODUCTION, CARNIE FILMS is proud to announce the first MONGOLOID COMEDY from a music and performance artist comedy troupe known as THE JOHNNY ECCLES FAN CLUB. The film is NUNS: SERMON OF THE MAGPIE and promises to be just as weird as it is funny. Currently in it's shooting stages on a very low budget, it follows two nuns who jump the walls of the convent to discover the world outside. Expect scenes of hilarious nunfoolery as they interact with the unknowing general public in their escapades. See it on here soon!
